Adventure Northumberland

A cycle ride along the coast with Michael and Paul from The Cycle Life Store saw me pedalling my way eleven – yes, eleven – miles through fields and along vales … here are some photographs to give you an idea of what a beautiful coastline there is between Craster and Longhouton in Northumbria.

Beneath this ridge is a deep sea filled gorge where the remains of a WW2 submarine can be seen at low tide.

The view looking back towards Dunstanburgh Castle.

Racing a tractor up the fields … this was just after I fell off into a patch of thistles – a real comedy moment.

Pausing for breath on a bridge across the stream down onto the beach to watch the gannets diving and the oystercatchers at work.

The full story will follow soon …
